Meet Diane Young

Here at Visions and Dreams we offer many unique services. Occ­asi­on­ally I am as­ked the ques­tion, "So, what is it that you do he­re?" First and fore­most I am the owner and it is my honor and privilege to keep things run­ning smoothly, so when people come into the store they feel wel­come and most importantly, comfortable. This kind of environment can be a little over­whelm­ing or even a little scary to those who haven't yet had the opp­or­tu­nity to explore the "metaphysical" (anything not of the physical world). I am told by many that I have a natural ability of making people feel relaxed and safe, as well as the ability to speak in terms that they un­der­stand.

At this time in my life I finally realize that I was born with these traits and feel that I am doing what I came here to do. Yes, I can honestly say that I love being the owner of Visions and Dreams. I enjoy coming to work each day because I never know who will walk through that door next and to me that is exciting.

I really love being of service to this community and will always strive to do my best in all aspects of running a business. I purchased Visions and Dreams in 2006 and have grown in so many ways. Some of this growth was painful but mostly it has been an amazing journey.

I am a Reiki Master-Teacher and regularly hold Reiki Attunement clas­ses and ses­sions. I am also a Certified Hypnotist, helping people help them­selves with anything from quitting smoking to Past Life Reg­res­sion. Hyp­no­sis is a wonderful tool that can change people lives.

I guess you could say that I feel extremely grateful when I can help an­other make a change for the better within their lives. Isn't that what we all came here for, to help one another?
