Raised in the woods of charming Butler, New Jersey, it was clear from early on that Diane was going to do important things. As a Virgo, an earth sign, Diane spent all her free time appreciating nature and absorbing the woodsy surroundings of her youth. You would never have expected that 10 years later she would move to Southern California to spend the next 23 years, appreciating the opposite side of the US just as much. Although she was now ‘out of the woods’, Diane continued to make the natural and spiritual world a central part of her lifestyle, enjoying her first job of caring for plants in a suburban mall. After working closely with her mother at a local office, Diane went on to invest 18 years at Ingram Paper, moving through 8 different roles and learning business management from every facet.
As she spent these years, honing her business abilities, her passions kept pace, with strong interests in the metaphysical world, goals for personal health and beliefs in holistic healing. During that time, she often fantasized about one day having a business where she could work with people and provide a valued spiritual service at the same time. When Diane met Annie Miller in 2005, all the pieces of the puzzle began to come together and a clarity for her path in this life emerged. Annie, at the time, was the original owner of Visions and Dreams and quickly embraced Diane. At their very first meeting, Diane still remembers the way Annie looked her in the eye, shook her hand and asked her name. Although weeks would pass till they met again, Annie remembered Diane’s name, unlike others in the past, and later would tell Diane that she knew from that first encounter that Diane would be the one to lead the store forward.
Today, just a few months after the store has switched hands, this L.A. Woman and Jersey Girl wrapped into one is fulfilling her dreams of owning her own business in a field that is rewarding, spiritual and worthy. In addition to managing the store, Diane is also an on-site Reiki practitioner and source of knowledge and inspiration for her customers. When you visit the store, you’ll find that Diane will embrace you too. She will look you in the eyes, touch your hand and ask you your name.
